"Rhea's Rings" c. 2008 Digital Painting The Cassini spacecraft has discovered what appear to be three faint rings around Saturns moon Rhea, marking the first time a rocky moon has been found to have rings. Other moons Enceladus and Mimas appear in front of the gas giants rings, and Titan is far off to the right. The fine line of dusty particles (in the same plane as Saturns rings) are Rheas faint rings. This view from the southern hemisphere of Rhea shows Saturn's northern hemisphere displaying its typical bluish winter color.
