Subject: Winners of the 2009 Mardi Gras in the Clouds “Mountain Masquerade” Art Contest
The Cloudcroft Chamber of Commerce announces the Grand Prize and Best of Show winners for the 6th annual Mardi Gras in the Clouds event in Cloudcroft, NM.
An invitation for entries was announced in November 2008 for entry deadline of December 5, 2008. The art was judged in three categories - original art, graphic/digital art and student entries. Judging was based on creative design and the theme - “Mountain Masquerade”. The Grand Prize winner was Linda Mahoney of Beeville, Texas for her original art. Ms. Mahoney will receive $100.00 cash for her winning entry. Cindy Nesbit of Cloudcroft won Best of Show. The winning art will be used in Cloudcroft Mardi Gras in the Clouds promotions, posters & t-shirts.
